Floraiku
Founded in 2017 by Clara and John Molloy (the creators of Memo Paris), Floraïku is an exquisite niche house inspired by the refinement of Asian culture, specifically the brevity and depth of Japanese Haiku poetry. Structured around three distinct olfactory ceremonies—Enigmatic Flowers (Ikebana), Secret Teas and Spices (O Cha), and Forbidden Incense (Kodo)—each fragrance is composed with short, precise formulas to mirror the minimalist structure of a three-line poem. The brand is renowned for its breathtaking presentation, where bottles feature elaborately painted caps that detach to function as portable travel sprays, all housed in luxurious bento boxes. With a unique concept of "shadowing" (layering scents to alter their lightness or depth) and cult favorites like the blueberry-tea gourmand One Umbrella for Two, Floraïku offers a serene, hyper-luxurious experience that treats perfume as a ritual of art and contemplation.
