Maison Francis Kurkdjian Amyris Homme EDT

Very fresh fragrance

Everybody talks about Baccarat and oud satin mood but ,in my opinion, Amyris Homme is much better. This is a fragrance you could wear year round for any occasion. Especially if you live in the south or somewhere where it’s warm all year. If you don’t live somewhere where it’s warm all year, then this is a great daily for the summer. It’s a very soft chocolatey floral fragrance. Since it’s an edt you’re going to have to spray it about 4 or 5 times to really get it to last and project. However, for an edt, it has a surprisingly good longevity. On clothes i’ll smell it the next day and on skin with lotion i’ll get a good 7-8 hours. If you’re thinking about getting the extrait or this i recommend the edt. While wearing the extrait i got much more woody notes and didn’t get the sweetness from the edt. Plus when you compare the prices to the extrait it’s almost double the edt when imo it’s a worse fragrance. This fragrance is also a compliment machine. Compared to baccarat, this is a much less intense cologne. But because of that, it is a much more mass appealing fragrance.

I think this is the most unique, wearable iris perfume that I’ve tried. Nothing smells quite like it.
It opens with clean, sharp notes and then it goes into more of a creamy floral, but still keeping something from the sharpness that makes you feel fresh. Definitely leans Male, but can be used by both sex. If you’re looking for a fresh daily Niche fragrance, this is definitely unique and mass appeal.
