Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian pairs Jamaican amyris with Florentine iris, warmed by saffron and Ceylon cinnamon and finished with vanilla and tonka bean, an ambery-woody scent enhanced by real spice rather than a straightforward citrus cologne.
It trades the lighter original's freshness for more depth and warmth, without losing the amyris-iris pairing at its core.
